The M.D. Micro Detectors range of sensors in tubular short, long or rectangular bodies. Models are available with extended sensing distances, IP69K sealing, high switching frequencies and extended temperature ranges. Inductive Sensors are a non contact device specifically designed to detect metal objects. Traditionally used in the automotive and machine tools industries, this type of sensor can detect a metal target even if contaminated by non metallic liquids whereas capacitive sensors are mainly used for presence and level control of powders and liquids typically used in the packaging and vending industries.
